Support Carmel Clay Families: Backpack Food Drive

Did you know that approximately 1600 Carmel Clay Students participate in the free and reduced lunch program, including 11% of Carmel High School Students?

The Carmel High School PTO Backpack Program provides food on the weekends for students who need extra nutrition.

How to support the program: This program relies entirely on donations and volunteers. Food Donations and gift cards can be dropped off during school hours at the Freshman Center Main Office (Door 13). Monetary donations are accepted online.

What is Collected:

  • Applesauce Cups
  • Canned Chili
  • Canned Chicken
  • Canned Tuna
  • Individual Serving Cookies and Rice Crispy Treats
  • Individual Snacks/Chips/Cereals
  • Individual Servings of Oatmeal
  • Fruit Cups
  • Fruit Jelly in Plastic Jars (20 ox)
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Microwave Popcorn
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Canned Pasta Sauce
  • Peanut Butter (16 oz)
  • Protein Bars
  • Ramen Noodle Packets (Chicken or Beef)
  • Canned Spaghetti O’s
  • Canned Ravioli
  • Canned Soup (No Cream of)
